Part of the requirements for school was good teeth. So we dutifully went to the dentist to have her teeth checked.
Ninna with her pink teddy, Teddy, for moral support.
It took us a total of 4 visits to three different dentists, a sedation treatment that did not calm her down at all, and traumatic papoose board accomodations but, in the end, we did get her teeth fixed. Yey!
As featured here, she did attend the school's Fall Festival and even dressed up as Snow White.

On Thanksgiving, Ninna and I attended their school's November Feast.

And just before the holidays started, Ninna had a small cupcake celebration for her 5th birthday with her classmates in school.
To give her public schooling a spiritual balance, we also registered her for Sunday School. It was a good thing, too, because we got to have a Christmas event in Church for children which she otherwise would not have had at Kindercare. The kids were in for cookies, arts and crafts, and balloon twisting.
Our Santa picture, minus Santa - because she still has santa-phobia.
Here are her Spring class portraits.
And finally, the last days of school came around. Ninna's class performed a couple of songs for the audience and they also received their "diploma" from the teacher.
Congratulations, kids!
Afterwards, the school prepared a lot of fun activities for the kids. Ninna's favorite was the bubble wand.
Ready for Kindergarten!
Right about the same time, Ninna also got to say goodbye to her Sunday School teachers, Miss Lyn and Miss Tracey.
Ninna actually felt sad that she wont be able to go to Sunday School anymore after their last day.
And so, this ends her first year in school. Hopefully, she'll be as excited, participative, and enthusiastic until she reaches college and beyond. :)
